A former educator and world traveler, Adam Lax has reinvented himself through comedy in Washington, DC. Adam has performed stand-up comedy all over the east coast, in venues like NYC’s Broadway Comedy Club, VA State Theater, Don’t Tell DC, and Washington DC’s Comedy Loft. His brand of humor finds the funny in the day to day routine of our lives as well as within society as a whole. His sharp wit, hard hitting punches, and engaging stage presence creates an instant connection with diverse audiences.
He also found and ran his own satirical newsletter called the Populist Laugh
.He has studied at Second City, taking sketch writing level 1 and 2, late night TV writing, and sitcom TV sitcom spec script writing
